The ride in Wisconsin is very tempting...

Active Trans has done the Four Star Bike and Chow (they are taking a year off). Anyone done that ride?

I'd definitely pay more for a ride that includes gourmet food stops. :-)

I'm with you - I'd gladly lay out some extra cash for something more than bananas and Clif bars.

Bike and chow has been wonderful, although it's more of a "tasting menu" than gourmet offerings. Well organized, with interesting routes. Sorry to hear they're taking the year off. It's been an annual tradition, and I'll miss it.

We have ridden with Fork and the Road a few times: really wonderful food, but not enough actual bicycling for me (just the right balance for my wife, though!).

The Four Star will still be held this year. It's the chow component that is taking a year off.
