Anyone Wanna Ride to Indiana Dunes?

I'm thinking we could leave early on a Saturday, stay the night, and then head back Sunday afternoon. It's about 50 miles, so probably take 5 hours or so. I've never ridden it, so if anyone has a path or suggestions, post em!

Maybe last weekend in May or First in June...?

haha...yeah, by the time I noticed that it was past the 15 minutes I had to change it. Sorry Anne!!

1 week guys! I just gotta get some padded shorts and a bigger bag and I should be set! Woot! for padded shorts and anything that will make my butt larger than it already is!!!! See you guys tonight...I'm usually on the East side of Daley Plaza when waiting to take off for mass.

GIRL.. TELL ME ABOUT IT... MY KABOOS IS LARGE AS IT IS AND THEN ADD ANOTHER 2 1/2 INCHES AND JUST CALL ME SHANAY-NAY. I'VE ACTUALLY BEEN TRYING TO WORK OUT OUTFITS TO ACCOMADATE THIS DISASTER...

no comment. other then i need a bigger bag too. but i just got paid. so somthings gonna happen. i need a new wrench too..

Hey guys- I'm just curious about what time we decided on to meet at the fountain on FRIDAY. Also, Im beginning to get a little nervous about hauling all this gear- ha! What's our ETA friday?

i will not have my new bike ready for the trip, so it looks like im stuck with putting all the stuff on my back. So...the 6 man tent needs to arrive by other means. i can bring my 2man no prob, but the six man is big and heavy. im not sure splitting up the tent gear is an option do to how its packed neatly together, and if it does get split up (among the saturday morning riders), everyone would need a way of securing it either to their bags or preferably bikes. i will pick up the tent from my friend in the beggining of the week and figure out the best way to repackage it. but...i may ultimately need help from the friday crew or car.

erick... we should still consider driving out on friday night dropping the stuff off. And still ride out there on Saturday. Jami can bring our stuff back on Sunday still. She just won't have much to bring on Saturday.

Yep...i'm still willing to bring whatever down Saturday night....or just bringing more stuff back on Sunday. I know the ride back is always harder than the ride to a place (at least it is for me!), so the car can always lighten the load.

And I also have a two person tent if it is needed, though I'm guessing no?

So sorry, I just got word in the shop that one of our clients is sending us a whole mess of work. They asked me to come in on Saturday. I will try to show up on Saturday if I manage to get most of the work done during the week.

12:30 at the fountain was my understanding...

That should get us to the Dunes by dinner time I'm thinking.
