CHICAGO — The city is planning to add Divvy stations to areas lacking them on the Far North and South Side — which will make Chicago's program the biggest bike-sharing system in North America, the mayor's office announced.
The expansion, which is planned for early next spring will bring the system to 475 stations with 4,750 total bikes, Mayor Rahm Emanuel's office said.

Definitely fills in some gaps for me where I would like some stations (NW area). Thought this was coming this year, but good to know its coming.
I like this expansion plan - makes the system more useful.

Leave it to the city to take "the expansion we made a huge effin deal out of that was going to make Chicago's the largest bikeshare system in North America didn't happen" and present it as "great news-- new stations coming next year!!!!!!!!"
