According to the weather reports, you're going to LOVE next week then.
(So will I, to be honest.)

Hear hear. Today was terrible. I want my fifties back!
It would be even better if those low temps hang around for Memorial Day.
Oh all you sweaty grumpypants. :P
I LIVE for summer. I DESPISE shivering, I despise eye tearing, I despise gray cloudy days.
Therefore... bring on the warm weather for me :)
I'm with you. I'm looking forward to getting my biker's tan back on.

For whatever reason I rode Lake around 5:30 (don't know why - it's a river of broken glass).
After crossing Sacramento in the "protected" bike lane at a pretty good clip I hear a crunching sound behind me. Expecting to see other cyclists, what I instead see is a white chevy blazer two feet off my rear wheel. In the bike lane. There are almost no bollards left, so now these folks are emboldened to take back the lane.
Asshole had a phone to her ear as well. Swerved around an El support, passed me, and re-entered the bike lane, taking out a bollard. Made a right on Garfield Park Blvd. Crazy, crazy, crazy.
Totally there with you. And this is the best time of the year when you don't need the air or heat on at home.

It appears I was lucky enough to ride in between the downpours.
Got caught by one mini-storm but missed the deluge. Saw zero other riders.
Never Mind the Bollards, Here's a Stupid Driver
