I was loving the damp freshness this morning.

The flowers need it more than ever. They've been holding on forever.

What?  Oh, why yes I did ride today.  The fog?  Oh no, your so silly, I like fog.  Its funny you ask because I put on a rear blinky so the cars would see me.  I could do fog everyday bro.  FOG-ed-abowdit even.

I enjoyed the fog all the way into town when it started to lift.  Lots of park service vehicles on the lakefront trail this morning, though.

lovely weather, almost my favorite temp... and I think I had a tailwind for most of the way. A+ ride.

had another tailwind, stronger than yesterday, but more twitchy... sudden changes in direction.  Seems like the wind never just blows straight.  didn't see anyone out.

I couldn't figure out the wind today either, but it seemed the rain kept hitting my eyes. I saw a few folks on bikes round UIC halsted area. Otherwise, no bike traffic west of Morgan.

No one? Really?

I was on the LFP heading north right as it was starting to drizzle. Saw lots of SB cyclists. Then I turned around and started heading back south, and found the LFP largely abandoned - no runners, very few cyclists. It was kind of like the drizzle scared a bunch of people from coming out.

Spring, are you there? It's me, May 1.

Dried off fast...tiny rain.

Ice coverage on Lake Superior and Lake Michigan has fallen quite a bit the past month. That bodes well for a warm-up.
