I am curious as to what year your bike was made... or what brand.  or any other interesting info, or what you like about it.  Me: (aprox.) 1985 Peugeot.  My reflectors match my paint job (original), I like that.

Here we have a 1990's Bridgestone XO-4 (sporting trail dust from the last tour). Vintage peace sign cable yokes (I collect these) & Dia Compe brakes. Still has the protective plastic film on the head badge.

Here we have a 1986 Miyata Ridgerunner. This is my longer distance touring rig (can haul more stuff than the Bridgestone). Black with pink accents. Pink is my favorite color. More peace sign cable yoke action. Hand-stitched on (by me) top tube protector.

And....here we have a 1987 Nishiki Prestige. 700c rear X 24" front. The idea is to provide toe clearance on the small frame. I'm a short dude & I ride small bikes. Lots of pink on this one. I love pink. I did have a white Selle San Marco Rolls (& white bar tape) on it, but it was like an ass hatchet. Put on a seasoned Brooks B17 Imperial I took off a bike I don't have anymore. Not as sleek, but sure is comfy. My butt likes B17 best.

The newest in the stable is 'Fat Ass Wally'. A Wally World Mongoose Beast.

Out of the box.

As it stands a few days later.

Since changed the stem to a bit shorter one with less rise. Might even get to ride it tomorrow.

I have three.

This is my work horse, errand runner, commuter and what I ride when my wife and I bike together. It's a Specialized Sirrus. Yellow rim in the front, black rim in the back (Go Hawkeyes!)

Here is my gunner and speedster, a Schwinn Paramount. I usually fly solo on this one.

I am currently fixing a tandem bike that is old and has weird non-universal parts. It's been quite arduous. No picture of that yet.

My long-distance road rig is a SOMA Smootie with steel SOMA fork built with a slightly vintage Ultegra gruppo.  This photo was taken on RAGBRAI last year.

My ATB is a '92 Trek 930--the last year Trek made a lugged MTB frame in Waterloo WI.  What a great frame.  Apart from the frame, only the stem, h-bars and front derailleur are original.  Everything else has been replaced.  I found these new reproduction Timbuk II skinwalls two years ago.

And finally, my touring rig, a 2011 JDM Panasonic touring bike with factory couplers.  I am planning on selling this frame and the Velocity Dyad wheelset in the near future (front is a dynamo hub).  I don't ride it enough these days and needs a good home.  Contact me if you're interested (it's 48cm and very, very green--the photo does not do it justice, and the frame sale includes the fenders, bb, headset and front Nitto rack (all of which came with it from the factory)).

Matt, what wheels are those on there?  I am looking to get something for my 99 Allez and those rims look nice!

Hey Mike! Those are actually the original 16 spoke Shimano rims that came with the bike. I am not 100% certain of any model number. Sadly the rear one busted so it has since been replaced with a higher spoke count rim. I still have the low spoke count rim on the front. My go-to place for bike stuff is Kozy. I would check out their rim selection. I bet you'll find something similar to the look of these that are of higher quality.

sweet vintage action... I think Bridgestone is my top pick.  Also like basket and blue levers on commuter.

West Town Bikes had a dark blue 52cm XO-3 at the swap on Saturday. Overhauled by them and looked to be in pretty good condition. If I needed another bike (I know, I know...) and had the funds, I would have taken it home. If it didn't sell then, it may be at Ciclo. Just sayin'

I have my college mountain bike and a low end 'LeMond' from 2007 but after buying a Long Haul Trucker I don't really ride the others at all.  It's everything I need for commuting, shopping and traveling year-round.

Thanks fo da tid bit.  I've never been to Ciclo... guessing that's the sales floor for West town bikes?  I'm an uptown hermit.
