Double thermals on the LFP this AM, ouch. Searched for this on the 'link and did not find.
English humor not being for everyone. You get to Dylan Moran after you have Stephen Fry bleeding out your eyeballs. He's of the linage of storytellers who cuts in humor and wisdom:
All the way on the other hand this is distressingly lowbow but still quite funny.
Wow! The top 8 threads on the chainlink this morning are people bitching about something. Does anyone on here enjoy riding a bike anymore (other than me)?
I blame it on the weather forecast. It forecasted heavy t-storms for this afternoon. So I took the Metra in, which was unusually crowded this morning and full of u-turners too.
I just can't believe the number of commuters that made sudden u-turns on the platform without looking. People, look before you turn! ;)

Well I volunteered at a pit stop this morning and happily yelled "Happy Bike to Work Week" at a lot of people. Most of them were happy in response. Happy Bike to Work Week, or Happy Chicago Bike Week, depending on your persuasion!
I have not been able to commute all week due to work commitments. Can't do so until Friday. Wait, this is the Happy Thread...
...Yesterday I got home a bit early. I got all five bikes in our garage in working order. I then got on one of them and rode to the Lincolnwood disc golf course. Locked the bike to a sculpture and frolicked in the park throwing discs. Why chose between fun things when you can do them both? :-) That was almost as fun as riding into the city last Saturday afternoon wearing my Blackhawks jersey and sitting outside for a burger n' beer at Red Apple. Happy.
Right. Happy thread...
I went to Turin yesterday afternoon to pick up my fake-onneur (my Surly LHT dressed up as randonneur). I felt a little bit dirty, because I cheated on my usual shop, but they were booked for two weeks solid.
John at Turin did an excellent job fixing the rattle on my VO fenders. It's starting to look like a real pretty bike right in time for RAIL. Happy indeed
Is that the one on N Damen? I've been meaning to check it out. How is it? Also whats your usual shop? I usually go to Easy Rider cuz the old guy is kind of funny, and you can haggle a little with him.
