I saw h's comment about light fluffy snow.  Maybe he lives in a different city?  That was some heavy wet snow made worse by those people who inconsiderately walked on it before I got home. ;-)

The association takes care of it and my other least favorite thing to do: lawnmowing.

Gene, we might have to report you to 311!

After riding today, the shoveling seemed like mother natures way of providing me with a great complimentary training program gladly earning me a very mad cow stout.

I shoveled when I got home... you could barely tell 20 minutes later.

I have another hour or so to go out and do now.

There is a world of difference between shoveling snow before and after it's been packed down by foot traffic.

When I have no time, I cut a path one shovel-width wide for people to walk on to hopefully make it easier to finish later.

Shoveled lots..great exercise!

Went out this morning to clean up the end of it.  It is the end of it, isn't it?

I shoveled last night again and it doesn't look like there's been anything since down here.

Wasn't the hardest to shovel, but it was a lot of work to scrape up the packed stuff.

Everyone who has to shovel frequently should have one of this type of shovel:

In addition to one with a metal blade.  They really are (far) superior as long as you resist any urge to try to chip at ice with them.

The only shovel I have is keeping warm in the back of my car...and that's not moving today.

Tidied up a bit out front this morning, cleaning up what came after yesterday's 5pm chore. I used to shovel a single-path through the city-owned property next door, as they're generally slow to shovel. But I figured out that if I so much as did a single path, their contractors would show up, shrug, and move on. If I leave it untouched, they show up and do their job. (*sigh*)

They actually do show up and shovel it? Wow.

I figured out my camera web interface has a "snapshot" feature right in it... you just save the file as a JPG (I can get around windows well enough to do that...)

Nice shoveling!  The street in front of your house looks better than the street in front of my house.

Our sidewalk is clear.  Folks did better than average last night and this morning in my 'hood, so my walk to the train was easier than expected.  :)

I was more sweaty after shoveling yesterday than my daily commute!  Just to make sure my arm, legs, and back were sore today I did an 11pm clearing as well.   Oy my back!
