The Chainlink

Hi all,

A few of us are meeting on Sunday to discuss dooring education efforts. To help inform our discussion, I'd like to get your thoughts on efforts and worries. Please take this 7 question survey - http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5J3CBZX.

We'd love for additional folks to join us on Sunday, too. Check out the event calendar for details.

Thanks,
Katie

I did #5 as best I could, but the survey doesn't seem to allow me to prioritize each of the items. Thanks for doing this, Katie. I will be interested to see the data you gather.

I second that. Thank you for taking this forward in a very positive way!

This is the problem I mentioned earlier.  Question 5 only allows one to prioritize 4 of the choices.

First, thank you all for the passion and participation. We are posed to make a positive difference.

Due to survey limitations, I wasn't able to change question 5. I did add text about the forced ranking and added another question that allows for multiple rating in one row. Not a perfect solution, but it should allow for additional input. Clearly it's not a very scientific approach; hopefully it's enough to get us going.

By the way, good news! A college friend virtually introduced me to the head of CPS. He is willing to hear any proposal we develop!

Thank you!  And great news about your CPS introduction.

I have one more point.  I heard that in the Netherlands, drivers are taught to use their right hand to open the driver-side door, because the motion cause them to turn naturally and gives them an opportunity to look behind them.  This is exactly the sort of thing we should teach new drivers in Driver's Ed.
