Very sorry Dan. Best of luck for a speedy and complete recovery.

Dan, feel better. sorry to hear about it.

Ugh, so sorry to hear this Dan.  Glad you're still alive to tell the tale. Best wishes on healing.  Halsted & Chicago seems like a real danger spot, other Chainlinkers have been run over here as well.

No fun at all.  Hope you feel better soon, Dan.

Be careful everybody!

Owww!!!  Very sorry to hear it.  On the other hand, I'm glad you're alive and doing well enough to share this info with us.  Wishing you a thorough and speedy recovery.

Speedy recovery. Sorry to hear about this.

Drivers are definitely not paying attention- be careful.

speedy recovery wishes

Dan, best to you for a speedy recovery and thanks for sharing this experience.  I winced this morning as I was riding on Wells stopped for a red light at Ontario.  Before the light turned green another cyclist passed me and started into the intersection without looking to be sure that all westbound traffic was stopping.   Even driving a car, I think we all need to do that double check and split second wait to enter the intersection when we get a green light.

Never proceed into an intersection unless it is safe to do so. The right of way is for suckers, and their heirs ©.

Get well soon, good luck with the legal stuff, and thank you for sharing and looking out for us. Sorry this happened.

Hey Dan, I hope you are recovering well.  Take good care, Jen
