Premium Rush Movie trailer-

Hmmm...don't know how I feel about this one.

 

Synopsis:

Dodging speeding cars, crazed cabbies, open doors, and eight million cranky pedestrians is all in a day's work for Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), the best of New York's agile and aggressive bicycle messengers. It takes a special breed to ride the fixie -- super lightweight, single-gear bikes with no brakes and riders who are equal part skilled cyclists and suicidal nutcases who risk becoming a smear on the pavement every time they head into traffic.

But a guy who's used to putting his life on the line is about to get more than even he is used to when a routine delivery turns into a life or death chase through the streets of Manhattan. When Wilee picks up his last envelope of the day on a premium rush run, he discovers this package is different. This time, someone is actually trying to kill him.

Active Trans doesn't have an official position on Premium Rush, although we can say that Quicksilver is amazing.

I expect demand that Active Transportation Alliance promptly draft a letter in response to each negative movie review which may pop up in Chicago media.

Just saw the movie.  He makes a very suitable villain in this one.

Lots of great stunt riding in this one, especially the chase scene in the NYPD impound lot.  Some of the dialogue is kinda goofy.  But it's great fun as an action movie.  Bonus points for a funny homage to the persistent newspaper delivery boy from "Better Off Dead."

It's an entertaining escape with almost non-stop bike action.  I give it a thumbs up for great bike fun.

Saw it Thursday midnight and it was a good flick to just sit back loose yourself in bike action chase.  Whenever he envisioned the line it gave some funny and painful results.

I had a similar feeling with he was envisioning how different lines of travel would play out.  That was part of the fun.
