Not all bottle cages were created equal! Please if you are riding with your bottles make habit of either getting half decent cages or at least pushing the bottles down regularly...

I was cruising down the LSD Path and the dude I was about to pass lost a bottle. They literally turn into land mines and as they start to roll become completely unpredictable. Almost wiped out today when a bottle got stuck in front of my rear wheel and locked it up, I was saved from a potentially horrendous crash by my guardian angel who was watching over me for a change!

I lost a bottle on Ashland around Division on March 6th when going over a nice moonscape under a bridge. Not surprised about the bottle flying out, but quite surprised I didn't break my bike.
On those rare occasions when mine decides to go flying, it's usually due to a pothole or rough railroad tracks.
screw water bottles and water bottle cages...i dont need either haha but seriously i could see how a rolling bottle in your path could cause big problems
