This is some of the best news I've heard in a while.  I've generally disagreed with Mark Kirk's opinions and votes, but I'm glad he was with us on this one, so I wrote to thank him for this vote. 

 

Only 6 Republicans voted against the Paul Amendment, and 2 were from Maine, where Repubs have generally been more moderate.

I'm glad. I wrote Kirk and told him that they people down here in the suburbs like their bike paths. It's very Republican down here, so pushing that is something that works I think.
