Who else is looking forward to the forecasted 40's next week? I gave my bike a total overhaul today wiped her down to get the grime off, lubed her up and gave her a tune-up in preperation...Oh man I am looking forward to the days of riding in shorts and short sleeves not to mention short finger gloves and water bottle that's half filled with ice...

Wait...I just looked at weather.com's 10 day forecast and it looks like more of the same jive... :(
I find accuweather to be a little more accurate than weather.com, they are not nearly as commercialized and are more precise in their forecasts at least in my humble opinion that is...

Keep in mind the wind chill. It is posted at whatever a stationary person would feel, but once you add in the 15-20 mph a cyclist is traveling at, the wind chill is a little different.
As far as people complaining about the current temp., at least it has been consistent for the last week or so, wind chill +/- 10 deg. around 0.
Ride strong and drink hard on the mass tomorrow.
According to Tom Skilling's forecast 31 on Saturday and 34 on Sunday.
A new surge of arctic air lowers temperatures for the week hi/lo temps
Mon 25/17 (Groundhog Day)
Tuesday 22/8 Looks like a good day to ride the Snowmobile Trails @ the Forest Preserve
Wed 17/12
thur 25/10

Got about 10" of snow onthe ground temps might not get that warm but better than teens
wind chill may approach -10 tomorrow. great, just in time for CCM. Will have to have extra drinks with me to stay warm.
40s???? OMG, I'm gonna be outside all day...when I'm not at work...which is never. Fuck!
It actually was pretty warm all day.
