volunteers needed for Beverly Criterium race on 7/8

Beverly's annual criterium race, the Beverly Hills Cycling Classic, is happening on Friday 7/8, and volunteers are needed.

The race starts at 6:00 p.m. and usually ends around dusk (8:30ish). Course marshals are needed to help ensure safety along the course. There may be other volunteer needs for the festival (at 107th & Longwood), which will feature food, music and drinks from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Just wanted to bump this up on the feed, since they're still looking for volunteers.

If you're coming from downtown or 35th St., it's an easy trip on the Rock Island Metra line - just get off at 107th St. and go west a couple of blocks. There's a festival with music, food and drinks next to the starting area.
