I've always had e-mail notifications turned on and sometimes make the mistake of assuming other do as well (how often do any of us bother to look at settings and study what's an option and what's a default . . .) ; with the recent uptick in forum activity my e-mail has been taken over by notifications and I'm in need of turning off some of them.  I was curious to see what settings others have chosen and if there's anything like "majority" behavior in that regard.  So I'm posing the questions:

1) Do you have e-mail notifications in general turned on or off?

(if all off, you're done :-)

2) Have you opted to receive notifications of additions to discussions you've started

3) Have you opted to receive notifications of additions to threads you've commented on?

4) Have you opted to receive messages sent to a group you belong to?

Thx . . .

When I notice that I am getting too many emails from a discussion or I am not interested in that particular discussion any longer, I just click on the link at the bottom of the email to unsubscribe to that  particular one: "To stop following this discussion, go to:[link address]"
