Join us for a live recording of the Biking and Politics Podcast, featuring an interview with Yves Engler and Bianca Mugyenyi, authors of Stop Signs: Cars and Capitalism on the Road to Economic, Social and Ecological Decay. The interview will be followed by a round table discussion on automobile culture and interests and how local advocacy can serve as a counter measure.
The Biking and Politics Podcast is a new forum for discussion on how cycling can help pave the way to a healthier more sustainable future, and explore what we can all do to become more engaged in the political process to create healthier communities. This month we follow the authors of Stop Signs on an epic car free road trip through America and examine the challenges and opportunities faced in reversing the trends of auto centric urban planning run amok.

Ha! My dayjob is at a book distributor and this is one of the books we carry. I've been swapping email all week long with Yves' dad to make sure books arrive at the right spots.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help out, host, provide a meal or a bike for our distinguished guests.
I can't attend, but you really should link to the podcast. I would listen to it if I had some sort of link.
