We have a few threads here and there with introductions, but nothing organized. For this thread, post your picture, pics of your bikes, and a small blurb about yourself (favorite foods, commuting routes, etc).

For sure. I was on Norco for almost six weeks straight and the one week that followed was probably the worst week of my life.

It's Hydrocodone! And I hadn't realized that it was the meds but yeah my system was confused by the day off from pills.

Actually if you've been taking a steady dose for more than a week or so you've got a rough 2-3 days ahead of you when you decide to quit, independently of digestive shut-down.

Great stuff to keep on hand for "breakthrough" pain now and then but getting off it's a bitch once you're hooked on a steady dose.
Hydrocodone is really interesting stuff. I once had an abcess and the dentist couldnt see me for a few days so I was given that stuff to take care of the pain. After popping a couple ( and one or two shots of Jeager) I decided that i would drain my own damn abcess! All it took was a quick stab with an exacto knife on the inside of my mouth. It actually worked! I got the Idea from my mother who has had nine kids and never uses pain killers of any sort.

But I did miss the Hydrocodone after it all over.

perhaps sometime I will tell you folks about how I got the scar on my left hand. but that is another story.

Cool, we have a Chainlink Dentist !
I guess its time i did this.......

Old guy, 49, from suburbs. Bookkeeper by day, budding bicycle collector/builder by night. I usually do road riding during the summer months - 30-60 mile rides.

I have had a lot of fun on some of the night rides listed here, and recomend them for others to try!

The bike collection is up to 8 so far.......a lot cheaper/easier than car collecting.

This pic is me on Lance Armstrong's Motorola era bike....(but its not one of mine).

Cutifly, get thee to a therapist. Or at least realize that a post like this may be counterproductive to your stated goal!

xox, the smart, overweight, divorced woman at the second bike repair stand down the way who just doesn't give a rat's ass

The trick is to meet the kind of woman with "her own money and her own future" . Although in the majority of examples such as that they do end up being not very attractive nor interesting and are almost always overweight but hey you know they gotta be smart. So the trick is a brown paper bag and a cut out from a fashion magazine with someone you are really attracted too, paste with a glue stick and place on head. Don't have a paper bag ? A younger better looking sister or 20's something's daughter will do. Woman always sense when your getting some kind of action and all of a sudden they want to chase you and try a mess you up only to dump you after you say you have left your other woman for them. Solution is don't tell. I know a great place in Glenview supposed to be a haven for lonely divorced woman with great live music. I personally have not been there yet, but would be willing to check it out, I am pretty good at chatting people up when I am drinking. I personally prefer my babes on Prozac involved in some type of crisis, but hey that is just me. I am always down.
I don't know what the goal is I am just feeding into the red dog.

This is my original posting! ;-) Pic 4 is now defunct as it was modified by the front of a PT Cruiser driven by a crazy woman. Bye bye Zoomer. ;-(
