Commute Detour at Wells and Chicago Ave.

I just heard on WBEZ that there was a shooting with a cop at Wells and Chicago so if you take Wells home you may have to take a detour.

From what I heard from Scott and what I've seen on the Sun-Times site, I'd recommend taking a detour. They may have the scene closed to traffic for a little while.

I read the account in the paper. Sounds crazy. Locals actually thought they were filming Chicago Code!

It was just a crazy, random incident that happened to play out in that location.

I usually use Chicago to get to Wells around 4:00 -4:30 p.m. every day on my way home from work, but on that day I had to leave work early, so I missed the excitement (and the danger, thank goodness).
