The Chainlink

Here's a nice video highlighting the "Back to the Mac" event at which the new macbooks were introduced.

The new Apple store at North/Clybourn doesn't appear to have any bike racks. You might mention this to the store manager. Apparently, they are still doing some exterior work.
Not exactly my neck of the woods . . .
Is there dedicated automobile parking?

No Apple-branded parking lot that I could tell. However, I believe Apple has cut some deal with a local parking garage allowing store visitors to park for less. The lack of accommodations for store visitors arriving on bikes is rather surprising, especially since Apple teamed up the the CTA to spruce up the neighboring Red Line station. I expected Apple to build on that transit foundation and be supportive of those who visit the store on bikes.

Ya know, I was just trying to share a funny video. Maybe your anti-Apple rant would be be better placed in Anne's Bike Parking thread?
Aside from that, I'm not sure why it's someone else's responsibility to look into this. Do you know how to find a phone number and make a phone call?

I've noticed the lack of bike parking, and several friends have commented on it. I hope they'll remedy this soon.

There is a parking garage just across Halsted St., by Borders, Sur La Table, etc. I believe that's where they made their parking deal. Given the physical configuration of the North/Clybourn/Halsted intersection and the very tight lot where the store and red line stop are located, dedicated parking right at the store would be pretty much impossible.
