The Chainlink

Hi everyone, I hate to use the forum for a personal request, but my friend lost her dog this afternoon, and we need your help! The dog's name is Dahlia, and she's a 2-year old mutt who's about 20 lbs. She was lost around Wilson and Broadway and was last seen going south, but at this point any place is fair game. She is microchipped. We've contacted Animal Control and everyone else we can think of. We're offering a reward, so please contact me via personal message if you have any information. Thanks in advance!!!

I hope your friend finds her dog! Best of luck.
Hope she turns up.
That would make a killer story if the chainlink helped locate a lost dog . . .
I am merely bumping this up...I can't do much from Budapest, but love dogs....
I have a dog business and walk dogs in the area. I wont be there til tomorrow but I'll keep an eye out for Her. You might want to check with all the pet shops in the area. I'm sure they will put up a flyer or have heard via word of mouth if anyone's see her.
Also, Puptown dog park at Marine Dr and Lawrence as well as Dog Beach at Wilson and the Lake would be a good place to put up info and network with people that may have seen her.
I saw missing posters for this lil gal up in Lincoln Square. I will definitely keep my eyes peeled in the area!

Best of luck finding her.
Any luck yet?
Yes! My apologies, I've been away from my computer for the past couple of days. Dahlia was located on Sunday afternoon. She had been hit by a car but was taken in by some well-meaning students, and was taken to the emergency vet. After 24 hours of observation she was released to her thankful owners, and she's making a speedy recovery. Thanks to everyone for your well wishes! :)

the dog walker was putting on her collar, and somehow she escaped from it and took off. she's a really fast little girl!
I'm very glad to hear that she's home and recovering from her accident.
