The Chainlink

Folks,

We had a fabulous Perimeter Ride last Saturday with about 80 total
participants, some sweet tailwinds and, best of all, no whiners.
My liver is still recovering.

I'm going to print up some t-shirts with the attached logo by Da Square
Wheelman. These will be politically correct (unless you're anti-porn)
American Apparel ringer t's in light red with black printing. They're $10,
basically at-cost.

After getting stuck with dozens of extra "Walking is not a crime!" shirts,
I'm only printing up shirts that are pre-ordered and, preferably, pre-paid.
If you want one, e-mail me at greenfieldjohn[at]hotmail.com by Tuesday
with your name and size and I'll provide an address for sending a check.

I'll announce a tavern happy hour in the near future where you can pick
up your shirt.

Live on the edge!

Sat evening and I had to bail down by Midway.

Agreed. Fantastic ride with fantastic stops. Thanks again for setting it up, and thanks to Terry for bringing donuts!
thanks awesome ride! My second year, but couldnt stay for the entire ride-due to family obligations! But thanks to Brian for biking through "the hood" with me from Rainbow cone (western/95th) and to the guy who had an extra biking lane map of chicago... And not sure how may "block parties" we crashed/I mean passed-- we had counted about 6 (at the 1/2way mark). Happy Riding!!
Wow - that is great art - well I think so. It has a sense of humor and obvious intent that makes t-shirt or patch art work quickly and well at communicating concepts. Good work.

Have you heard about the Art Patch Project?

You are already a screen printer so you may not be interested in our free screen print workshop for artists. You might want to compare procedures and see how we solve the same problems.

Thanks for the work you do.

Yeah - I second, third and fourth that it was an amazing ride. Just as good as last year (and this year I got to stay till the end as well as post ride celebrating at the handlebar). Damn the fries at Superdawg were good. Favorite part: hard to say but riding through the north branch trail with just our lights was pretty rad!
i concur - that was one helluva ride! it was an absolutely positive experience, from start to finish, and i am soooo thankful that i got the pleasure of spending one of my last weekends in chicago with such a swell group of people! i just uploaded a few photos to flikr --> i guess i'm not savvy enough to figure out how to set up a direct link to the set, but they're easy to find if you search for "perimeter ride 2009".

also, thanks for putting up with the horn-honking all day!...i'll be tooting around town this friday evening/night, as well - i hope to see you guys there...
Put up with the horn-honking all day? I missed the horn-honking the last two days as if it were a phantom limb.
