Bump it up.
March was a month of chaos - between injuries, a change of jobs, and races I was only able to ride 417 miles in the month. My total for 2017 so far is 1,785 miles, which means I'm almost 1,500 miles behind pace if I'm to make my goal I set in January. Perhaps it's time to re-adjust, or maybe just hammer down in April. April will be a big month for me with a lot of training miles in preparation for Red Hook Crit at the end of the month. So with that being said, I'm going for a ride.
Between touring Chiapas, Western Guatemala, and 50-60 miles a day delivering food I'm at about 2900 miles for the year.
804.2 after the Fourth Step Ride
2,714 miles with 21 Perimeter Rides. Now 344 miles behind last year's pace but with 17 more PRs than at this point in 2016.
Hi! National Bike Challenge is back. And since this is THE thread with all the miles, Chris had an excellent idea that it would be a great thread for recruiting...
It's easy to do - to join The Chainlink's team for the National Bike Challenge, you need to:
1. Join The Chainlink club on Strava (if you aren't on Strava, you'll need to join)
https://www.strava.com/clubs/thechainlink
2. Join NBC
https://nationalbikechallenge.org
3. This is the Group/Team for The Chainlink on NBC. https://nationalbikechallenge.org/groups/1374
Right now we're about 25th in the nation and I think we could win this year. Win what exactly? Idk. Bragging rights? :-) Join us!
900.1 after the Dark Lord Day (and Fifth Step) Ride. surprised myself by riding back.
curt(is), are you doing a perimeter a week?. think of it as your National Perimeter Challenge!
Melissa, definitely aim for 6000. and then Jeremy can settle for 12,476. :-)
A Perimeter per week would be quite a comedown from last year's total (74.)
