DNAinfo featured The Chainlink's Epic Bike Stories This Morning

Have an epic bike story to tell?

If so, The Chainlink wants to know, as the cyclist-connector site is holding a "Tell Us About Your Epic Bike Summer" contest. Bikers have until the end of the day Tuesday to submit entires, which include photos, with voting beginning Wednesday. The winner receives a Voler Chainlink jersey.

"This contest celebrates the joy and the love of cycling. It is every type of cycling — racing, training, around town, commuting, vacation, family rides, social rides, etc.," said The Chainlink president, Yasmeen Schuller. "No matter how you ride your bike, the experience can be epic for you — truly joyful, forming beautiful memories."

As Lauren Conroy kindly mentioned to us, #RYB (ride your bike) started in honor of Blaine (Beezy) Klingenberg. He was a Chicago bike messenger, well loved by his friends, who lost his life when hit by a bus. Afterwards, #RYB became a way to honor the other cyclists that have lost their lives as well. http://www.thechainlink.org/forum/topics/cyclist-hit-by-tour-bus-mi...
