Cyclist Riding a Divvy Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run by Driver at 1:15am in River North

 6-25-19. A 32 year-old male Divvy cyclist was critically injured by a hit-and-run driver while riding early Tuesday morning on Grand Avenue in River North. The cyclist was traveling westbound on Grand Avenue when he was hit by a dark-colored sedan also traveling westbound. A female cyclist riding with the injured cyclist witnessed the crash and said the vehicle left the scene continuing on Grand.

The cyclist comments are nauseating. This is a terrible section of street with the narrow bridge, but no amount of “looking out” would have helped, given the way the driver came flying in. And why isn’t abc giving any advice to motorists, maybe “don’t hit and run”?
