Blago ride for July or whenever

Ok I know its early and, by now, dated; but I think it might be fun to do a blago graffiti ride. We should all post where we have seen the graffiti and try to make a route around those points, making the ride somewhat of a scavenger hunt. We could then make up something funny to say every time we pass them too. Just a thought. I know that there are a couple on damen (one one the west wall just south of the blue line stop, the other on a north wall in an alley around fulton, I think) and one by the macy's downtown.

Inline skaters are doing a Blago themed group skate this Friday. Bikes could probably join. I'll try to snag a map for ideas.

Why Blago Rave?

Last year we ran into our infamous ex-Governor Blagojevich during a rave.
Reason enough to dedicate a skate to him. Stops include State of Illinois Building, Federal Plaza, Oxxford Clothes Inc and most important, the place where Blago gets his hair cut.

We'll take off from the rusty baboon at the Daley Center ( Clark and Washington ) at 7:30PM and end at Navy Pier.

Keep in mind that this event is organized by National Skate Patrol. That means BRING A HELMET!!, they are serious about that (bike helmet, hockey helmet or skateboard helmets are fine). Wrist guards, knee & elbow pads are suggested. Stay with the group , don't run red lights etc.
Skate at your own risk. Bring water. Be prepared to skate 10 miles, stop, turn, go over curbs, potholes, RR tracks, etc. Bring water. There will be none on the route!

Even if you are not used to skating in traffic, give it a try! We'll watch out for you and no one will be left behind.
