Biscuit and her pet.

No power for 9 hours now . . . at best, it looks like a bad case of ich for my cichlids . . .

At worst, 45 gallon ice cube.

Sorry to hear about your fish.  Do you have battery power air stone?  Anyway, my Jack Dempsey.  I like having a small slice of a nicaraguan lake to look at on a winter day.
Have a gas stove?  When my furnace went out, even though I have a tank warmer I would boil a gallon of water and replace some of the cold, not perfect but it helps.

That is one fine Jack.

I have 4 (occasionally they are 2 pair) mature turquise severum.

I had water boiling this morning but I had to go to work. No heat for 15 hours . . . not a lot of activity in there. Wasn't worried about aeration-- they'll just slow down and sit on the bottom when it's cold; not happy about any potential biowheel die-off though.

Howard, did the fish do fine with the power outage?

Here's my guy playing in the snow this afternoon.

My main main, Oslo, climbing his favorite tree on the snow day! (He is very afraid of ThunderSnow so Tuesday night's walk was crazy making.)

Here's Payton, very excited to be out after we dug out our walkway yesterday.
This is Jack Bo Diddley, hogging his new bed the instant we got it out of its packaging.

We adopted Willow on Wednesday and have had Harley the "Ninja" Hamster for about a month!
