Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

hmm riding next to would be safer. and actually the faster we go the closer we can be. the harder it would be for droplets to cross the gap. and the stronger the headwind.

...and social distancing means no drafting.

The 6 foot / 2 meter specification probably doesnt apply to following another cyclist.

the other option (for me) would be tue. the last day of the month. colder but less windy: Cloudy. Temps nearly steady in the upper 30s. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph.
