Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

So far, so good, but I eagerly await a healthy conclusion to the reclusion for all.

All good here. Discovering the joys of walking in the park. Might need to stock up on IPAs and Stouts for the upcoming reclusion.

at least not for take-out:

Bars, restaurants, and nightclubs are required to close to in-person patrons but may provide take-out and delivery service through March 31, 2020.
