The trip was pretty nice, I really liked the Czech Republic alot. We spent a few days in Prague then got our rental, a Mercedes no less, and headed north to the Jewish ghetto of Terezin, then Dresden Germany. We then drove back to the CR to the castle of Karlstejn, then on to Plzen (Pilsen) the mecca of beer drinkers. We also visited the castle of Konopiste before heading back to Prague.
Prague has a lot of culteral events that were nice, we enjoyed 3 different events in interesting locations, one being an abbreviated opera of Don Giovanni done with marrionettes that was hilarious.
My friend flew home and then I went on to the Costa Del Sol of Spain for a few days of bumming aroung, where the weather was much warmer too.
I have been in the process of buying a foreclosed house near Ukranian Village that has been going on for some time, if I get it, I'll have you and Hugh over. It's a very unique house with a rooftop greenhouse that is in need of a LOT of work :-(
