Wanting to be part of a biking community, and looking for another source of info.
About me:
Nothing special here. I bike commute as many months of the year that Mother Nature will allow me as well as a means of getting around in the city. I've also done Ragbrai (I'm an Iowa native) a time or two. I do not compete. I ride because I enjoy it.
My first bike:
A Schwinn 10 speed of some sort or another...

My first "grown-up" bike was a Trek Gary Fisher DS 8.1 commuter/hybrid - that I still commute on to this day. My other "grown-up" road bike is a Trek Domane AL3
