About me:
My dream is cyclotouring. Especially to go around the world. This summer I would like to go to Illinois State Beach Park again. It would be fun with a few other people.

Green is my favorite color and I happily own my dream bike, a green Heron Wayfarer touring bike. I think this year I'll finally be able to get a generator hub and lights as well as new dimpled Honjo fenders. :)

That's a little about me, bicycle wise.

I have a plot at the garden at Lawrence and Western. I didn't know there were individual plots at Waters- that's such a cool space over there.

Don't know what the garden is along Ravenswood but I will definitely check that out! Further north along Ravenswood there are the west Andersonville gardens but those are mostly flowers and such. Would be fun to have a bike tour of northside community gardens next spring!

sorry,,, : ) As you must know, we Garths get used to being the only ones "in the room". And it often feels bizarre when we meet other Garths. One time I received a spam email which I noticed was also sent to about a hundred other Garths that the spam robots collected. Perhaps we should have our own website? "Club Garth" ?

Now, I see your nick name is the Square Wheelman which reminds me that there is a folk tale about a farmer named Garth, whose field is not square, but triangular. Something tells me that would be easier to deal with than a square wheel!

Happy Wheeling, look forward to running into you in person. Sincerely, Garth (the other one)
