    I feel silly, because it might be right in front of my face, but where's the map you refer to in the comment below? I don't know a good route to Palos, but a good route out west is Wrightwood, and then the next street to the north once Wrightwood becomes one way east. If you have to head south at all once you get west (don't have a map in front of me to see where PH is) take Ridgeland.
