About me:
I collect vintage bikes and rebuild them for sale. I love working on bikes, and I am really glad to be able to help people find restored vintage bikes that are no longer made today. I also enjoy wheelbuilding. If you're looking for a bike, or have one that needs new life, I might be able to help.

    The fenders are made from 3 layers that are around .1 or .09" thick. I get the wood from an exotic hardwood supplier from michigan. It is sold as veneers and is usually around .125" thick. I inherited a micro planer that allows me to thin it by sanding.

    There is no need for steaming, I just glue, bend and clamp against a form.

    As for the hardware, I make it myself. Although you can get and use replacement hardware from existing fenders. My hardware is constantly evolving, but I am using stainless from online metals for the stays and brackets and a bolt I drill out from mcmaster carr.
