Nice to hear from you and about another Raleigh Lancer - now I know of around half a dozen? A friend spotted it in a local thrift store last year, in the NW 'burbs of Chicago, and I bought it - I'd never heard of them before and still haven't managed to find out much about them! I found a set of pictures of one in Michigan, https://www.flickr.com/photos/msubikeproject/sets/72157603130581899/, and have come across one or two other isolated pictures. A friend and avid bike collector in Minneapolis has a black one like mine, but it is buried too deeply in his basement for pictures or for hime to get the date off of the hub. The ones I have come across all seem to be '57s with SW 3-speed hubs. I am in the process of overhauling and cleaning mine, hopefully in time for the ABCE event in Minneapolis in mid=September that I have been gloing up to for several years, http://www.abcetour.com/. Here are my pictures, with cleaning & reassembly so far https://www.flickr.com/photos/26361775@N02/albums/72157647063383043, I will be working on it again today & tomorrow ... feel free to eMail me directly, adl2k@yahoo.com, best regards Alan.
