The kind of riding I do:
Exercise, Commuting, Competition / Racing, Around Town
About me:
I am the Blue Baron and I ride a vintage Single Speed Nishiki. I also consider myself to be a man machine, and me and my bike are one.

There is nothing like the euphoric and emancipated feeling that I get when I ride my cycle on the flatlands of the Metropolis. My aerodynamic positioning and the tight geometry of my cycle allow me to generate and recyle energy simultaneously.

Are the threads on the inside of the crank arm messed up? Or are the threads on the bottom bracket messed up?

the crank that is still on the bottom bracket. Are those threads dammaged? I am trying to understand the problem before suggesting anything.

I have a crank arm puller. It is to be screwed into the arm. (the outer part of the puller) The inner part is then screwed into (pushes against) the bottom bracket. the arm is supposed to be very tight, requiring the puller. To view the problem is the best thing. Maybe I can Help you. I am not a shop. I am a hobbyist. I have no fixed gear bikes Most of my bikes have at least 3 gears, or a coaster brake. (I am 58 years old)I am planning on a single speed with a front brake. I like your art work.
