I checked out your link that you posted on the "ride to the dunes" thread, and I am planning basically this same trip in august. I noticed the Muskegon to Milwaukee part and am wondering if you are taking a public ferry or something across to WISC. Forgive me if this sounds ridiculous...im new to the area and if this is an option to cut across the lake I would like to know more. thanks -
