Yeah I missed it, I had performance practice for a performance on thursday. =( I will be at the next one for sure, and midnight marauders!

You'll love it - I really enjoyed it last year:

I'll send the route I used and welcome suggestions!

It is a good time - food, music, people, etc. There was another group riding there last year, but at a faster pace. I took my time and enjoyed the ride, ate and relaxed in Whiting, and got back slowly and full of starch ;-) I'll put my route on a Bikely map and post a link.

I should see if Icehouse wants to sponsor a racing team. Remember what Homer Simpson said "It's not weather you win or lose, but how much beer you drink"
  • DanaW

Of course. I'll be the penis unicorn. That's a great pic of your bike.
  • John

I can work up a cue sheet to go with the map. If you want it in iambic pentameter or anything fancy, that will take more time ;-)
  • Martin Hazard

Yes my plan to dominate the bike universe is coming together nicely... My # is 773-885-0900

  • JJ

  • Martin Hazard

Why are you not in the Marauders group yet? Hoopefully we will se you there this month. Drop me a line if you want to grab a drink sometime.
  • Martin Hazard

"Do, or do not. There is no 'try." Hope you make it this month. I may not make it- that remains to be seen. The other night was not so much of a spill, as much as me getting nailed and flying 15 feet. The landing was good though- on my back, and the helmet did it's job. Miraculously, the 6 pack of tall boys, and the glass pint of scotch in my bag did not rupture- even with my u-lock in there to keep them company. Nothing broken, but I am hurtin for certain. If not Sat. I hope to catch up with you soon.

We don't have to do a 100 mile ride. We could just go riding and have food/drinks somewhere. Also, you need to keep me posted on when/where you're performing. My social calender looks like it will be opening up considerably in the coming months!
  • Dao

Hey Carolyn: I'm interested in the ride to P-fest. My friend and I were thinking of going onto IN dunes for an overnight camp, but it would be nice to ride with some other folks since we've never crossed the border. let me know what happens. Thanks, Dao
  • Brett Ratner

Definitely keep me posted...I would love to see you on stage :-)
