great job all! I've done a half and although I don't know if a full marathon is my cards (at least at this point in my life) I would love to try a tri. Now I just need to train....

Serge--you are so generous to volunteer at these events. I am running Chicago in a few weeks and am so not prepared as I was sidelined recently with plantar faciitus and a longer than it needed to be bout of strep throat. But I am much better now, and will just do what I can do.

I have been blogging a bit about my ramp up to the event. It has been great to write--thought I should be spending last time on the keyboard and more on the sidewalk. Hope you all are enjoying this great running weather.

Hey Serge! I started my 20 really late today (after 7:15 even though did a 9:00 pace). I slapped a high five with a guy who looked like you and answered to Serge early on during the CARA run. I was kinda crazed cause of missing my start. Was that you?
Congrats on everyone who did their 20's this weekend. Gorgeous weather!

I love running the black trail at the lapham portion of kettle moraine near delafield which I think is pretty close to Pewaukee. The ice age trail, which I think is marked yellow throughout WI is pretty much awesome any where.

Your marathon is just around the corner. So don't to forget to recharge load with plenty of hops.

Hope everyone doing terrapin and zooma had good races. Muddy monk half was a lot of fun and with free on tap cardinal sin pilsner at the finish. They shorted the distance I think, but I great fun run in the burbs.

Nope. Too expensive for a 5k for my blood. But - I'm doing the Muddy Monk 1/2 marathon this weekend on the des plaines river trail. Anyone else running it? (It up on the segment north of 22 half day). Beer.
