the friday and monday parts make it a bit difficult for me. ill let ya know
I have clearance from the fam to bike there on Friday. M and M would likely get a petrol assist to meet us Friday pm.

Now, er, how many years has it been since I have ridden 110 miles? I better practice my bike fix it skills as I expect I'll be toodling down the road behind ya'll.
We'll crash at good ol' McKinley Woods (just don't drink the water). That will be 55 mile Friday and then the balance on Sat... no 110 mile death marches.

Monday has been dropped from the itinerary.

One option is Amtrak to Mendota, IL. $14 ticket + $10 bike, you just roll your bike right on the train-- no boxing necessary. Departing 5:55pm on Friday night or 7:35am on Sat.

The ride to the campground from Mendota is about 25 miles. Go the long way around, avoid the bluffs!
