Let me know if you need any balloons or whatnot for the rides. I'd be happy to help!

Count me in! Let me know what kind of help might be needed to get this going here in Chicago.

Oooo! I like that...and I also think that Saturday morning is great - unless you have a lot of tired adults from a long week, not to mention the Friday night critical mass the night before! But I think that it would take some experimenting. Did the other website say how other places have done it, what works, what doesn't work?

I was thinking Saturday mornings would be good as a way to get children away from the rot of TV/cartoons/advertising that is the usual fare for so many.

But perhaps we can't compete with that. If an afternoon time works better to get a good turn out then that's what we should do.

How about locations? When I first heard of Kidical Mass I thought the Tour De Fat ride and Palmer Square.

Hey Todd! Great idea! Let me know how I could help. I would think that having it maybe on the last Sunday afternoon of the month would be a great idea - so that bedtime/family time would not be too much of an issue. Very cool idea, and great way to get the next generation of activists involved. :)

Hi Howard, wow you got here fast. Not sure if you beat out my sending of the invites or not.

I wouldn't expect a first ride until Spring, but time flies and it could take until then to pick a ride time and meeting point and do enough promotion to get a decent turn out.

I found the family biking group and thought about pitching this there, but I wanted to be able to invite people widely specifically for getting a Kidical Mass ride started and not hijack the other group for that purpose.
