We have a route for the Sunday Hyde Park ride!

Here's the google maps version: http://goo.gl/maps/sCex

Highlights of the ride include: Lab School, Robie House, U Chicago campus, 55th street protected bike lane, Ray School, Bixler Play lot.

Hope to see you there! http://www.thechainlink.org/events/hyde-park-kidical-mass

Thanks, Todd.  Hopefully we'll see you next month!
I am actually more worried about too much confusion than too few riders.  We had about 12 families last month, with less advertising.  I think there's great potential in Hyde Park based on all of the cycling families that I see.  But I think it would be good to have some experienced KM riders to help with corking and the like, while we work on building up a base of local regulars.  We had a couple of northside families last ride, and it was tremendously helpful.

Elizabeth, I hope to be able to do the Hyde Park ride in July, but will be supporting the "Free Bradley Manning" contingent in the pride parade on the 24th.  I hope you have a successful kick off ride but don't be discouraged if it takes a few months to build awareness of the ride.

We'd love to have some regulars help launch this new ride!  We have a lot of enthusiasm here in Hyde Park, and I think some more experience would be really helpful too.  Next ride is this Sunday, June 24th.  We'll start at Harold Washington Park, which is really easy to access from the lake front trail.
