James-
I don't live in an area that would allow us to get together for coffee, but I would be happy to share my experiences from participating in the 2011 PBP. I had an amazing experience and wouldn't trade it for anything. My e-mail is ddiehn@diehnlaw.com.

It happens a lot. I joined RUSA, but I wish there were some brevets closer to where I live most of the time, which is SW Michigan. I am in Chicago Mondays and Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings for work. There rest of the time I work from home in Niles, MI. I will be doing the 24-hour challenge in June, and I did a 150 mile ride last September in 11.5 hrs. I WILL have to get to the brevets, though, I know.
Oops, I meant to say "Hi James"....
Hi Jason,
Some free advice - join RUSA now and start riding the brevets this year, ideally a full series although that may be tough depending on what rides you've done in the past.
Coffee would be nice too....
Eric
Hi, I'm new on this site and I am looking for anyone who has ridden the PBP and would talk with me a little about it. I plan to do it in 2015. Coffee is on me!
If you want to download GPX files for the 2013 GLR brevets, they will be available here:
So far only the file for the 200K has been created.

2013 GLR 200k/300k Cue Sheet & Map Update
I've updated the cue sheet & maps for this year's 200k & 300k GLR brevets. They are available at:
http://glrrando.org/route200k.html
http://glrrando.org/route300k.html
They are identical to the 2012 routes with a few exceptions:
1) Church Road will be used instead of Keesey on the way into Brodhead (construction);
2) the 300k split will occur north of Brodhead at the St. John Road intersection with the 300k bearing left (west) and the 200k turning right (east) - also due to road construction; and
3) the routes will be returning to Co. Hwy. M, southeast of Milton, to take advantage of several miles of new pavement.
The 400k & 600k routes are pending approval.
As always, all cue sheets, maps and GPS files distributed prior to the event should be considered preliminary and subject to change. Riders will need to follow the official route provided at registration.

I'm planning to ride the Fox Valley Permanent route in two weeks on April 27 to celebrate my birthday. Anybody care to join me? I may not complete the entire route.
Eric, that is the best team name I have ever seen.
Team Badgers Ripped My Fleche is planning to ride again in 2013, departing from Naperville at 6PM on May.17th.
We don't have a video but here is a ride report from last year:
