Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Up-to-date map (with a list, postal- and web-addresses and phone numbers, where available). Five hundred thirty (530!) so far.

I went for a walk and some grocery shopping after a day in my "home office." Don't think I've ever seen so many people walking, running and riding on a weekday in still rather chilly weather.

Perhaps, I'll just go for a ride tomorrow after work ;)

Virtual lockdown happy hour on Zoom tomorrow 3/24 at 5:30?

We could also do some Zoom cycling, but I think there's already a platform for that.

I heard Koreans don't know the difference, anyway... or do not care ;)

Doctor's office just sent a message saying that loss of taste or smell was reported by 30% of virus positive Korean patients, even without fever.  So if your IPA smells like Miller Light, call your doctor.

I've been working from home the past three years, but today, all of a sudden, I feel very bored

You're a bit too dramatic ;)

We are living through history that may be a future world history topic in the future, if we do survive this human-race-wiping disease

No, I'm at home. Will, actually, work this weekend: all the Indian employees of the company are not just under a quarantine, but curfew, apparently. Thought I'll go somewhere today, but... just as well might work.
