Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Up-to-date map (with a list, postal- and web-addresses and phone numbers, where available). Five hundred thirty (530!) so far.

The best part, Old Lazy, is the beer has already been paid for ;)

Hey Serge, I'll be at the same Noon session. I'll buy you a beer if I run into you. Try to pick me out without my mask on.

Carolina has to work this upcoming Saturday the 11th, so I have an extra ticket ($40.00) for the first tasting session (noon to 4 p.m.) of the American Beer Classic at the Soldier Field.

First responder to this will get the ticket.

(You don't have to hang out with me and try all the beers I try, but you'll have to meet me to get the ticket, of course ;)
