The Chainlink

All-Season Cyclistas:

On Saturday October 9 at 12noon, we'll be holding a Get Layered! Winter Cycling Tips & Tricks workshop at the Holstein Park Playground, 2200 N. Oakley.

The workshop will immediately follow the Logan Square Kidical Mass, which leaves the Palmer Square bunny park (3100 W. Palmer) at 11am.

For the workshop, we need some recent winter cycling converts to share what helped tipped you over the edge to keep on pedaling. If you're willing to volunteer, please reply to this message and feel free to share what made you a winter cyclist.

And please everybody come join us for the ride and workshop next Saturday and share in the Bike Winter love!

Cheers,

Michael

Hi- We'll miss the ride for a long planned camping trip and are sad we will miss the workshop. We keep getting so many questions about riding out with the guys that we started a blog so we can send people there instead of trying to keep answering the same questions... www.chicargobike.blogspot.com. We just posted about dressing during fall as we had to today before Alderman Solis's ride. We ended up happily helping friends who never ride get their kids and selves dressed for the chill and out on extra bikes. MAybe they'll just keep going!
We are used to dressing such a jumble of kids now.. I don't know if any of it might be helpful but there it is! Hope the Starved Rock ride was as fun as it sounded! Jennifer
Jennifer- great job on the blog!
