Tomorrow's forecast is 90 to 100% chance of rain.  The National Weather Service (forecasts always to be taken with a grain of salt) says 1 to 2 inches of rain, 30 mph wind gusts and thunder.

I am thinking Divvy might be my bike du jour if I find it is not raining when I want to ride. I love that option!

Skip thanks, that NOAA site is great, I've never seen that before.

I'll be riding, I don't melt in water and I get to shower on the work end of my ride.

I have to drive in for work reasons.  If you want to ride home but are not thrilled by riding in the anticipated morning conditions, I could throw the rack on the car and swing by Evanston. I would want to leave Evanston no later than 730am but would be willing to go earlier.

I was expecting to take the train this morning, but saw nothing too ominous in the hourly forecast until mid-afternoon, so I rode. I'll do the same Thursday, but my favorite weather summary suggests it might be messy. If I do manage to ride, the ride home should be nice though. Look at that wind forecast!

Of course I will. What a silly question! ;)

Thanks for the offer. I will just take Metra if I decide not to ride...

I'm riding. Always do.

But of course I'm riding tomorrow!

Hang on a sec.  It's raining RIGHT NOW!

I have no functional bike with fenders.... may try to get going in time to walk.

ill be out there, time to really test the new fenders.

Ugh... still stuck at work-- I couldn't take the heat here anymore and finally propped the window open a crack-- sounds like it just started pouring.

TODAY, I left my bike at my office and took Divvy to my 5:00 meeting.  Glad someone with a car offered to drive me home. :-)  Yes, it is raining and it does not look like it is going to stop.  I will have to bring sufficient rain gear with me tomorrow to ride the bike home tomorrow night regardless of what is falling from the sky.

I'm not riding tomorrow, but only because my stuff won't yet be dry from tonight.

In other news, how long do those Showers Pass jackets last? Could I squeeze a third season out of mine?
