Where can i find those stretchy lights you can wrap around your tubes? - The Chainlink2024-03-28T08:36:13Zhttps://thechainlink.org/forum/topics/where-can-i-find-those?commentId=2211490%3AComment%3A59218&feed=yes&xn_auth=noI have a Knog with 4 led's in…tag:thechainlink.org,2009-03-23:2211490:Comment:593702009-03-23T00:35:27.029ZJoe TVhttps://thechainlink.org/profile/JoeTV
I have a Knog with 4 led's in white for the front. It's great. I picked it up at Johnny Sprockets. It works great, and is the most structurally sound light I've used yet. Perhaps best of all, it goes on and comes off the bike in literally 2 seconds. When I lock up the bike, I unsnag it and put it in my pocket so as not to tempt. Plus it can bounce between multiple bikes with ease.

Dude, I got to agree on your comment. The front is probably the more critical light. Planet Bike Superflash in the rear and their 1W Blaze up front is the way to go. I find that people notice my light bouncing off street signs and stuff way before I get to the intersection and turn around to see if its the police coming! My point is that they are super bright and make you hella conspicuous, they're great.
BTW, these use watch type CR2032 batteries. These are raging expensive ($5) at Wal-drug, but I just bought 25 for $11 (shipping incl.) through a place on Amazon.com http://tinyurl.com/dczhzo
Altho not as interesting, the Cateye lights on stretch cords are far more visible from distance for a comparable price.

Yeah i usually use bigger rear lights but i'm looking at these as backups and for aesthetics. I want to create sort of a hover craft effect kind of how Vando has neon lights on his road bike but a little more toned down.

those aren't a bad product, but i would really suggest you look into a more serious red light for the rear, and maybe knog frog for the white in front.
Yeah they are not cheap but they are great lights...Small and waterproof, great for being seen but not so great at lighting up your path. If you use them on the flash mode they last a quite a while too...Also they are small enough that when you place them smartly they are not likely to get stolen...
