The Chainlink

I stumbled on this website through a non-bike-related design blog:

This is a totally fun collection of products.  Anyone seen or used any of these before?

Yes, I have their bike handle and I use it daily to bring my rig up the tiny staircase to my apartment! Super functional and looks foxy, too, no?

I want!

I just received my Walnut Studiolo bike lock rack-mounted holster. It was a custom-sized one (which they sometimes make) and I have not yet attached it to my rack, so my review is limited at this point to how it looks and feels and not how it functions. Anyway, working with them to get a custom-sized holster was pretty painless (I had to send them my lock and the whole thing took about three weeks), but apparently, they only take on custom projects when the workload permits.

It's a good looking piece of work and holds the lock securely. The mounting hardware is pretty simple (two Chicago screws for the loops that go over the rack), but, of course, it would get in the way of a second pannier. Cost a little over $120, once you figure in shipping the lock there and back but so far, no regrets.

Here's a pic of the holster, hanging off a pants hanger. There's a buckle on the back that secures it to the rear rack where the rack attaches to the wheel:
