<p>I had not heard of this one. Although I don't fully understand the impetus to ban convicted sex offenders from operating such vehicles (shouldn't that already be covered under some broader restriction?) and how it relates to this case, I am glad to see that we seem to be moving away from a culture that considers injuries or death inflicted by motor vehicle operators to be "accidents" by default.</p>
<p>Probably a very different outcome if there had not been video.</p>
